Students should bring an exercise book to work in, preferably a maths book with grid lines. Writing equipment and calculators can be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own. A "Scope and Sequence" from school is also helpful as it shows what topics and assessments are coming up. When students get an assessment task notification they should bring it to tutoring so we can work out a study plan together. Students should also bring their school work so we can see what they're up to in class and types of questions they've been working on.

At this stage, group sessions are run face-to-face only. These are not available to book online as I need to assess each student to ensure they grouped with other students of similar level.
If you are interested in group sessions, please get in touch via the Contact Us form on our website. It is recommended that you book your free 30 minute initial assessment first to better fit you into the group sessions.

Even though I am a high school teacher, I also tutor primary school students. I follow along with what they are doing in class to reinforce these concepts. I also focus on other key areas to build on the most important skills needed for high school. Some Year 5 and 6 students work through a Year 7 program I have developed, to prepare them for high school.
